Seriously?
How is it that I managed to get on the road this morning and heard BLF say "I'll be really still. Ok, Mom?" I had no idea what he was talking about until I turned around and realized I had not buckled him into his carseat! WTF?? So, I immediately pulled over and strapped his ass in. Seriously, who am I?

OMG! At least he said he'd be really still. . . D&H would probably have seen that as their opportunity to try to jump out of a moving vehicle. I drove to BRU one time when David was an infant with his strapped firmly into his infant seat, put it on the base, and realized when I got there that the base WASN'T STRAPPED IN! We have issues.
I remember when I was about 3 or 4 and we loaded up the car to go to our lake house (this was when we still lived in Greenville). We were almost on the interstate when Mother realized that Claude (my older brother) was not in the car. I honestly would have been fine with a weekend away from him at that time, so I did not feel the need to tell them that he wasn't with us. Oops!
Mary, I love that Evie left Claude, and you didn't say anything...that is too funny!!!!
