I don't see what the big deal is...what's a penis here and there?
That seems like a good thing to have a "chat" about with a kid, but not something worth a demerit. It is a body part -- do they get punished for saying, "nose"?

I agree Jen...I think "let's not say that in class" would have been sufficient and then move on!

Owen got in trouble for saying that at school too. I think the teachers need to chill out!
I agree Kelly...they could say a lot worse!
Poor boys! They are learning about that very healthy word -- I mean don't all the experts say to teach them the correct word -- and then they get punished. They must get so confused.
